Jeep Adventure to Carwash Falls

Car Wash Falls is a classic Jeep destination you'll want to check out. The area is really cool with big rocks and a creek along the side. This trip was in February of 2024. We took Highway 123 (the "Arkansas Dragon") to Big Piney Creek Rd 5881 and crossed over Hurricane Creek to get there.

Then, we turned around and went back the way we came in. We weren't very familiar with the area at the time and didn't want to get too far into any trail systems since the sun was starting to set and we wanted to get back to our cabin. The bridge on Hwy 123 is a one-lane with a view!

You can actually just Google Map "Carwash Falls" and find the route. Be aware that if you come off of highway 123 the way we did, you will have to do the water crossing! The creek bed is rocky, but you will need to be sure to check water depth.
